Our extensive video library allows MXEvents DJs to interest your crowd in ways never previously possible. Our award winning video library and top of the line equipment allow us to create events that set a new standard. Upon your request we are able to play audio tracks with the official music video playing on the screen simultaneously. In addition, video parties allow us to write messages upon your request, show your personal footage or simply have a smooth picture scroll. Michael (Misha) Teixeira has been an avid photographer from a young age starting with a Polaroid Impulse. Not realizing his potential photography was a hobby and love rather than a career he decided to that taking time off and moving directions into the fashion industry he learned a new way to look at the way photos are taken. Being close friends with one the greatest photojouranists of the past 50 years, Boris Spremo, who is also the Order of Canada recipient, Misha began looking for new avenues to take his photos. He found life quickly in the world of live concerts and events shooting the likes of Sean Kingston, Black Eyed Peas, Adrian Grenier, Russell Peters, LMFAO, Tiesto, David Guetta, Dwyane Wade, Dev, Far East Movement and many more. Most recently his sister of all people hired him to shoot her wedding having faith in the outcome that it would be beautiful and shot differently than a regular wedding photographer. His recent run of wedding photos has garnered attention in Toronto and now his schedule between weddings and events has him booked 5 plus days a week.

Live Musicians

Solo (Piano + Vocals)

Guaranteed to be a sensation at your next event is a live performance from any one of our talented musicians. Darnell-Brandon Thomas serves as both musical arranger and one of the lead vocalists of the band “The Soul Engineers”. Through his many years of experience, audience members has always commented that his live performances sound like the actual CD recording but with even more flare and a unique touch to it. You can choose from a charming and elegant single piano solo act to full on multi song performance.

Band (Ranges from 6 to 12 Piece)

Simple Cocktail bands, playing a mix of traditional and funky tunes during cocktail time does not cut it for MXEvents. Rather, we enjoy a band that is Eclectic, Energetic, Diverse, Versatile, Party-Pumping. These have been some of the many names given by audience members to this awesome band, “The Soul Engineers”. “The Soul Engineers” is a maximum 12-piece band that emanates the soul of music that hits the core of a listener and engages them to bask in the ambience of the music being played. The front line of the band is lead by four amazing and versatile vocalists that can sing any style thrown at them. Supporting these vocalists is a talented band that comprises a Horn Section, 2 Keyboardists, 1 Rhythm Guitarist, 1 Bass Guitarist and anchoring the band is the always impressive, Drummer. They have played numerous corporate and private events, festivals, weddings and parties, just to name a few. There musical selections come from but not limited to, R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Pop/Rock, Dance and Top 40 covering the music of “yesterday” and “today”.
